2018 Cohort Update

Allie Negron

uAspire (Boston)

For a little over a year, I’ve been working at MissionWired, a digital fundraising agency that works with nonprofit and Democratic political candidates and elected officials. At the end of last year, I was promoted to Associate Director of Digital Production. In my role, I work closely with the Director of Production and Digital Experience to lead and manage the agency’s Production team, which produces client email, SMS, ads pages, and any other assets our clients need for their digital fundraising efforts.

Claudia von Nostitz

Reading Partners (NYC)

I’m teaching preschool in Tribeca and attending graduate school for education. Otherwise, in the past year, I’ve enjoyed running a half marathon, traveling, and cuddling with my cat, Grace.

Karen Wilber

uAspire (Boston)

This year will mark 7 years at uAspire! I started in a new role at uAspire in 2022 as Senior Director of Learning & Evaluation. I still am really enjoying living in Cambridge and taking advantage of the great restaurants in the area. In my free time, I’ve been traveling—most recently to New Orleans, and I plan to take a couple of international trips this year to Mexico City and also Italy. I also have been enjoying some newer hobbies—sewing, crocheting, and thrifting.

Ciara Williams

Mural Arts (Philadelphia)

I’m two years into my role as the Co-Executive Director of PLAN: The Post-Landfill Action Network where we focus on student-led zero waste organizing on and off college campuses.

"Through the FAO Schwarz Fellowship, I have made lifelong friends and a professional network that I know I can always lean on. Despite time and space, I never feel awkward reaching out to my FAO family for advice or support."
