The 2026-2028 FAO Schwarz Fellowship Hosts

The Fellowship is excited to announce the 2026-2028 host organizations.

The five hosts are all high-impact nonprofit organizations deeply valued by their communites. Two are new to the Fellowship and two of the host organizations are hosting two Fellows each for a combined seven Fellowship opportunities..

826 Boston, Audubon Mid-Atlantic, and Reading Partners have previously hosted FAO Schwarz Fellows. They will be joined by our two first-time hosts โ€” Brooklyn Public Library and The Trustees of Reservations.

These organizations work in three different cities and are commited to diverse missions ranging from early childhood literacy to environmental education to teen leadership development. We’re proud to partner with such an extraordinary group of social impact leaders in this our 20th year.

The Fellowship program provides opportunities for graduating college seniors interested in social impact careers to be part of organizations that are deeply committed to social justice and equity. Through a combination of direct service and strategic project work, professional development and mentoring, Fellows gain first-hand experience leading change and learn how effective nonprofits create lasting and measurable progress.

Applicants must be college seniors at the time of applying. Applicants selected as a Fellow will start their Fellowship during the summer following their graduation.
