Next up in our second-year Spotlight is Jesse, who was a Fellow at NYC Bird Alliance. Upon completion of his Fellowship, Jesse Jesse remained on with the organization as a Senior Associate, Advocacy, and recently started a PhD program in Environmental Psychology at the Graduate Center at CUNY. Congrats, Jesse, on continuing your studies and continuing on at NYC Bird Alliance!

Vanessa recently finished up her Fellowship at The

Vanessa recently finished up her Fellowship at The Food Project in Boston! Upon completion of her Fellowship, Vanessa joined Virginia Cooperative Extension as an Associate Extension Agent for 4-H Youth Development, an organization that encourages young people to participate in a variety of activities that emphasize 4-H’s “learning by doing” philosophy of youth development. Congrats, Vanessa, on all of your accomplishments as a Fellow and for fearlessly stepping into new leadership roles that came your way!

Museum of Science's rising second-year Fellow, Joc

Museum of Science's rising second-year Fellow, Jocelyn, recently interviewed Kira, her alumni mentor who was also a Fellow at the Museum of Science. Kira remained on with the Museum after her Fellowship concluded, and now works at The Philanthropic Trust in Boston. Next up in our second-year Spotlight is Jahmali, who was a Fellow at Breakthrough Greater Boston. Upon completion of her Fellowship at Breakthrough, Jahmali joined the International Institute of New England, a nonprofit helping to aid, employ, and naturalize New England’s refugees and immigrants, as an Admissions Specialist. Congrats, Jahmali, on your impact at Breakthrough, and your new role at the Institute!

Now that our 7 second-year Fellows have graduated,

Now that our 7 second-year Fellows have graduated, we're shining the spotlight on them, celebrating their accomplishments as Fellows and the journeys they're onto next. First up is Sophie, who was a Fellow at Audubon Mid-Atlantic in Philadelphia. Upon completion of her Fellowship, Sophie stayed on with Audubon as Senior Coordinator, Conservation Education and works closely with first-year Fellow, Julie. Congrats, Sophie, on all of your accomplishments as a Fellow!

Avery, a rising second-year Fellow at Year Up New York|New Jersey, recently presented to a cohort of students about program research methodologies and shared some insights about their site's data specifically. By sharing his passion for research and data, he's sparked Year Up students' interest in research and data, too.
